🐧 Installing on Linux

Linux builds don't come with a graphical installer — set them up from a terminal in the folder where the file downloaded.

.deb (Debian / Ubuntu)

Install it with apt, then launch Kijulo from your applications menu:

sudo apt install ./Kijulo_1.1.3_amd64.deb

.AppImage (any distribution)

No installation needed — just make it executable and run it:

chmod +x Kijulo_1.1.3_amd64.AppImage
./Kijulo_1.1.3_amd64.AppImage

If the AppImage doesn't start, install FUSE first: sudo apt install libfuse2

Getting started

  1. Download and install Kijulo for your platform
  2. Launch the app — it will set up an embedded database on first run (~50-80MB download, one time)
  3. To unlock Pro features, get a license key from your licence page on your web account, then paste it in the desktop app
