What counts as an entity type?: Each table or project you create is one entity type. For example, if you create a "Tasks" table, a "Projects" table, and a "Notes" table, that counts as 3 entity types.
Can I upgrade later?: Yes. Your free data migrates seamlessly when you upgrade to Standard or Pro. Nothing is lost.
Do I need an LLM API key?: On the Free and Standard plans, yes — you need your own API key for agent features. On Pro, LLM access is included (500 requests/month). The app works perfectly without an API key for data management — creating entity types, managing rows, using views, and filtering.
What is the difference between Standard and Pro?: Standard is a one-time $20/year payment for the desktop app with BYO API key. Pro adds cloud sync across devices and included LLM access so you don't need your own API key.
Is my data private on the free plan?: Yes. Your data is fully isolated per user and never shared with other users or used for training.
What happens when I hit the free limit?: You’ll see an upgrade prompt, but your existing data is never deleted. You can continue viewing and editing existing data — you just won’t be able to create new rows or entity types beyond the limits.
